Paper - My share of the first three years of Technology of the Medieval Book (1987, 1988, 1989) - bought pulp from Twin Rocker: Russia Hemp and Spanish Flax. Restraint dried on Shoji screens.
Sewing - Pack sewn on double raised cords, round spine with shoulder
Endbands - Flax thread made by Melody
Covering - Old formula alum tawed deer by Billy Metcalf
Clasps - Bronze including rivets and hinge pins from the same sheet. Clasps are adjustable by bending hasps to tighten or loosen
Boards - Hand split and worked by hand, air dried Oregon White Oak
Parchment - Patination from traveling and handling by people.
